WHAT’S IN IT?

Ingredients:
CoenzymeQ10
Cherry powder
Maca Root Powder
Hibiscus Powder
Shatavari Root
Baobab Powder
Ashwagandha Extract KSM-66

The Benefits:

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10)
A powerful antioxidant found in almost every cell in the body. It fights damaging particles in the body known as free radicals, which damage cell membranes, tamper with DNA, and even cause cell death. The amount of CoQ10 found in food is much lower than that found in supplements. CoQ10 is a molecule produced in the body and aids mitochondria during energy production. Your cells use it for growth and maintenance. Studies have shown that it may slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease. It can also help support egg quality as you age and doesn’t just help older women. CoQ10 has also been shown to improve egg and embryo quality, improving pregnancy rates in younger women as well. A woman’s eggs are cells and the mitochondria are responsible for energy production within the cell. The human egg contains more mitochondria than any other cell.

Cherry Powder
Increased oxidative stress contributes to the development and progression of several human chronic inflammatory diseases. Cherries are a rich source of polyphenols and vitamin C, which have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Their antioxidants promote brain health, reducing susceptibility to degenerative conditions as we age. Being a natural source of melatonin, cherries have the potential to improve sleep efficiency. In addition to helping aid recovery, cherries can support athletic performance. Research shows that they may enhance exercise performance due to its low glycemic index, as well as having blood flow enhancing effects.

Maca Root Powder
A nutrient-dense superfood with many benefits and medicinal properties. Containing high levels of iron & iodine, it promotes healthy cells to keep your metabolism on track. With large doses of potassium, it aids digestion and muscle recovery. Maca is also rich in amino acids, calcium, vitamins and minerals. An effective natural remedy to improve energy, fertility and memory. It is an adaptogen and can promote hormonal balance and homeostasis within the body, as well as being an effective natural remedy for low mood and depression. Studies have shown that Maca supplementation can help to relieve symptoms at every stage of the menopause. With many health benefits for women, not just for menopausal symptoms but other issues linked to hormones.

Ashwagandha Extract KSM-66
An adaptogen, (plant compound) that can help the body manage stress. They work by affecting certain body tissues and organs to reduce stress & fatigue. They restore the body’s natural balance, especially when under pressure. Research shows adaptogens can combat fatigue, enhance mental performance, ease depression, anxiety and support hormonal imbalances that affect the nervous system. When you face a physical or mental stressor, your body goes through a process known as general adaptation syndrome: alarm, resistance & exhaustion. Adaptogens help you stay in the resistance phase longer, via a stimulating effect that holds off the exhaustion. When stressed, your adrenal gland releases the stress hormone cortisol, which gives you the energy to tackle an emergency. Frequent releases of high levels of cortisol are not helpful, leading to cortisol dysfunction, which can trigger widespread inflammation and pain. The benefits of Ashwagandha include; stress reduction, fatigue, concentration, poor memory, trouble sleeping, frequent illness, anxiety, low endurance, joint pain and neurological conditions.

Hibiscus Powder
Hibiscus provides the body with many nutrients, such as calcium, iron, vitamin B2, and moderate amounts of antioxidants such as, vitamin C, and protection against damage from oxidation of free radicals. It is believed that antioxidants may reduce the risk of developing cardiovascular disease by reducing oxidation of harmful cholesterol in the body. Hibiscus seeds and their extracts offer many benefits to the human body. Hibiscus is rich in protein, and some amino acids such as lysine, arginine, and leucine, phenylalanine and glutamic acid. The extracts of the seeds of the hibiscus plant have an antioxidant effect, and this effect increases when the antioxidants in the extracts are bound to other antioxidants.

Baobab Powder
Full of nutrients, a great source of vitamin C, potassium, carbohydrates, and phosphorus. It is believed to have anti-microbial, anti-viral, anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory properties and medicinal benefits. Including improved digestive health, immune system, general hydration and skin health. The soluble fibres found in baobab fruit offer prebiotic effects, promoting the growth of healthy bacteria in the gut. The pulp of the baobab fruit contains vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus, carbohydrates, fibre, potassium, protein and lipids. The seeds contain phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, sodium, iron, manganese, lysine, thiamine and calcium. Vitamin C levels are said to be 10 times that of oranges. The seeds and kernels of baobab fruit have a high-fat content while the pulp and leaves have antioxidant properties.

Shatavari Root
Full of antioxidants and antiviral properties, it can be used to prevent viral infections. Various minerals are present abundantly in Shatavari roots, they include; zinc, calcium, magnesium, selenium, and potassium. Shatavari also contains vitamins such as vitamin A and vitamin C. Along with essential fatty acids such as gamma-linolenic acid. Gamma-linolenic acid is beneficial for the management of arthritis, diabetes mellitus, high cholesterol levels, heart disease and depression. Anti-inflammatory properties mean that Shatavari can help to manage issues such as period pain, cramps, bloating, headaches and migraines. Well known for its phytoestrogenic properties and use as a hormone modulator. Phytoestrogens are any plant compound structurally or functionally similar to oestrogens, and therefore can help support hormone balance, which is important for women during menopause with declining oestrogen levels.
